The hotel is lovely with excellent service and a fantastic breakfast. The location is perfect for museum visits. The room could use some heating improvements as it got chilly at night for an otherwise enjoyable stay.

Location is perfect, the rooms facing the square are really nice, typical madrid building with nice balconies
Some of their rooms have blacked out windows that cannot be opened, so basically you are staying in a windowless room, they should be ashamed actually selling those rooms to people, never seen anything like it. When i complained about it i was first told "well thats the way the hotel is build, you cannot view through/open the windows for security reasons as it faces the inside". Was changed to another room later on which was really good, with nice balcony/view on square. So make sure to confirm they,ll give you a room that actually has windows you can look through and open or dont bother ging there.
